The EXTREME+ calipers are derived from those currently used in the Trans Am race series. These 6-piston, staggered bore, radial mount calipers are machined from solid blocks (billet) of 7075 aluminum and employ 2 bridge bolts for maximum stability and precise modulation. When coupled with a 2-piece Alcon rotor, this system provides absolutely the shortest stopping distances and best repeatability currently available. Although they may have been derived from race calipers, they have full dust and weather seals as do all proper road-going calipers.
